About Us
First Aid 4 Life are Approved as Training Providers by ITC First and Qualsafe Awards, both of whom are Awarding Organisations (AO) that develop qualifications on the National Qualifications Framework regulated by external regulators RQF & SQA.

Based in South West England, First Aid 4 Life provide training nationally so please feel free to approach us for First Aid training wherever you are.

Our Trainers
All of our trainers are highly experienced which includes where relevant an active interest in the outdoors coupled with a thorough understanding of many workplace settings; this ensures that our training is extremely relevant. They are qualified to provide Prehospital Care Training FREC along with various First Aid training including First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work (that both satisfy the statutory HSE obligations of the employer) along with more specialist courses in Mountain and Outdoor First Aid & Forest School First Aid. First Aid 4 Life also have their own Training Academy to deliver First Aid Trainer to enable others to deliver accredited First Aid training.

Sam & Stella established First Aid 4 Life in early 2010. Professional trainer, outdoor instructor and casualty care specialist on a rescue team, Sam brings both training & business experience to the company.

Stella practised as a State Registered Occupational Therapist for over 25 years and brings combined experience of working in the NHS, Social Services and Private Health Care in both physical and mental health medicine.

Mark is an IHCD Paramedic with 30 years front line experience in the Ambulance service, including 6 years Air Ambulance duty. Also an IHCD Clinical Tutor with 23 years post qualification experience, he has provided education to all grades of Ambulance Clinicians and Health Care Professionals in both the training & operational environments.

Mark is an Independent First Aid Trainer, ex British Soldier, and highly qualified alpine ski instructor based in the French Alps approximately an hours drive from Chamonix. He runs First Aid courses throughout the Alps mainly to Ski Instructors and Mountain Guides.

Tom lives for the outdoors; he spends his weeks teaching others, weekends and holidays doing it for himself, and nights dreaming up new objectives. He was first inspired at school where he developed a love for climbing; becoming a regular on his school’s winter trips to North Wales and the French Alps.

Meg Allsopp

Meg is an IHCD Paramedic who so far has been in the ambulance service for 31 years and although part time now, she still enjoys the sense of fulfilment she receives by helping others. Her interest in teaching saw her become qualified to teach other ambulance staff and this interest continues to this day where she has been responsible for training Community First Responders in the South Devon area, the rest of her time being devoted to teaching first aid.

Martin was in the Royal Marines for almost 24 years where he first started to become involved in first aid. Now involved with training young people completing their Duke of Edinburgh awards and the Ten Tors challenge, there is plenty of opportunity to teach and practice first aid!
