What You’ll Learn
Our EFAW course covers all essential skills for workplace first aid including:
- Vital Signs: Checking temperature, pulse, breathing, colour, and consciousness.
- Incident Handling: A systematic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- CPR, AED & Choking: Responding to non-breathing casualties using current techniques.
- Wounds & Bleeding: Managing external/internal bleeding and shock.
- Minor Injuries: Treating small cuts, grazes, bruises, burns, scalds, and splinters.
Certification
Participants receive an ITC Certificate in Emergency First Aid at Work, a regulated qualification. Certificates are valid for 3 years, after which requalification is a simple 1-day (6+ hour) refresher course.
